We are a leading event supplier in Australia, seeking an experienced Event Production Manager to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of $105,000 - $115,000 plus super.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with high-end clients to deliver creative visions through scoping, planning, drafting, visualising, briefing, sampling, producing and execution. You will be responsible for providing expert technical input to the Creative team, estimating and costing projects, and maintaining production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on build requirements, AV and Lighting, and other production areas.
- Estimate and cost projects into our internal system.
- Maintain production schedules for approved projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and agreed milestones.
- Manage production suppliers to deliver builds.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure smooth logistics around projects.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and quality within the Production Department.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience working as a Senior Production Coordinator, Production Manager or Technical Manager within the events industry. You should have excellent technical knowledge, be highly organised, and possess strong planning and financial skills.
You will also need to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, operate autonomously when required, and function as a team player. Leadership qualities, confidence in leading and motivating the crew and contractors, and a sound level of IT literacy are essential.
