The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, nurturing them through the sales cycle, and contributing to our company's mission of helping clients make better business decisions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the sale from commencement through to the execution of the contract;
  • Using a consultative sales approach to identify customer challenges and offer solutions that match IBISWorld's product;
  • Building a solid pipeline of 300+ prospects;
  • Achieving and exceeding established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals;
  • Making significant outbound calls and emails daily to engage new and existing accounts;
  • Delivering live and web-based presentations and training sessions to prospective clients;
  • Sometimes traveling interstate to meet with clients;

Your Success Metrics

  • Meet or exceed your sales targets and contribute to the growth of our business;

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual with a passion for sales and a drive to succeed. You should have:

  • 3+ years of sales experience;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Basic understanding of selling principles and processes behind consultative selling;
  • Organisational skills to manage your pipeline effectively;
  • Able to speak with prospects across various industries and backgrounds;
  • An enthusiastic approach to work and a desire to succeed;

Location

This role is based in Australia, but we are open to considering candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
