Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Front Office Duty Manager to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the department, leading the work of the Front Office team members, and providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, support, and train Front Office team members to ensure standards and procedures are followed, and to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Operational Management: Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Front Office department, including the management of front desk operations, guest services, and administrative tasks.
  • Communication: Work closely with other departments, including Reservations, Sales, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping, to ensure guest expectations are met and to foster an environment of open communication.
  • Reporting and Administration: Complete reports, conduct shift handovers, and ensure all accounting practices and processes are completed, as required.
Requirements:
  • Availability: Availability to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, with occasional overnight shifts.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel Front Office team in a leadership position, with knowledge of the RMS property management system an advantage.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and good keyboard skills.
  • Qualifications: Full Australian Driver's License and Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
  • Working Rights: Current working rights in Australia, with Accor unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
