How you'll contribute: As a Partner Consultant, your primary responsibility is to enhance Xero's Partner Sales network, which is dedicated to ensuring the ongoing success of accounting and bookkeeping firms in transitioning their clients to the Xero platform while assisting them in formulating and implementing a digital strategy. You will deliver expert pre-sales technical demonstrations that highlight the value and advantages of the Xero platform, facilitating the closure of pre-qualified deals and ensuring a smooth transition for Partners from sale to utilization. Additionally, you will identify potential opportunities (both pre and post-sale) for Practices to further digitalize their operations and deliver enhanced value to their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Showcase Xero solutions such as Xero HQ, Xero Business, Xero Tax, Xero Practice Manager, Xero Report Templates, and Xero Workpapers in a pre-sales context to Accountants and Bookkeepers. Collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop business plans for Partners and sales strategies for the designated territory. Execute the online strategy developed in partnership with Account Managers for each Partner. Participate in regular meetings with the relevant territory sales personnel to establish sales and project priorities. Support partners with data migrations through meticulous project planning and training support. Address Partner technical inquiries and escalations while educating partners on all available resources. Maintain the CRM system (Salesforce) with comprehensive records of all client interactions, including calls, emails, and meetings. Keep the CRM system updated with all practice staff and contact information. Respond promptly to all Partner inquiries. Oversee the creation of resources (processes/videos) addressing frequently asked questions from Partners.

Qualifications:

In-depth understanding of the operations of an accounting practice and associated systems. Experience in training and familiarity with accounting software. Exposure to financial reporting, tax compliance, and related work. Familiarity with CRM systems. A strong interest in SaaS and the online accounting sector. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, coupled with a passion for fostering strong relationships. Capacity to establish a quick and effective rapport with partners. High levels of initiative and the ability to work independently. Keen attention to detail and strong follow-up skills. A process-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
