About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a global engineering consultancy, driving compliance and governance across all areas of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices for the business unit/function
  • Provide high-quality people services across all areas of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement
  • Consult with the business and leaders on HR advice and support, including performance management and disciplinary matters
  • Coach and provide hands-on guidance to management teams in HR issues, and participate directly in managing key HR issues
  • Assist managers in conducting ER/IR investigations, including grievance and disciplinary matters
  • Support leaders with change management responsibilities across the organization
  • Lead engagement and retention initiatives across the group
  • Participate in workforce planning activities for the business

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business or similar
  • Background in a People and Culture advisory/business partnering role
  • True generalist background with experience across all areas of the employee lifecycle, with the ability to think strategically while being hands-on
  • Proven understanding of HR Information Systems and Data Analysis/Flows
  • Knowledge and experience in IR/ER process and legislation
  • Ability to build relationships and influence a large stakeholder group across the business
  • Considerate and empathetic approach to people
