About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our engagement, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing strategy as the Manager of Engagement and Belonging. This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our culture and workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster an inclusive and dynamic work environment, ensuring every individual feels valued and can contribute their best.
  • Establish and manage the DI&A Council to consult with the business on key initiatives and drive positive cultural change.
  • Analyse data from WGEA and other reports to identify and address key gaps in our engagement and inclusion strategies.
  • Lead the development of the Probe Group Engagement strategy, including overseeing the Voice Engagement Survey and creating plans to address key areas of concern.
  • Partner with the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing team to support mental health and wellbeing initiatives for our people.
  • Consult with Legal and People Operations teams to enhance policies that advance the DI&A agenda and drive ESG objectives.
  • Lead internal communication strategies for the PX function, collaborating with the Marketing/Communications team to effectively articulate Probe Group's values, vision, and purpose.

You are a strategic thinker with a strong engagement, diversity, and inclusion background, possessing a proven track record in designing and implementing impactful strategies that enhance organisational culture. Your analytical skills enable you to identify gaps and opportunities, and you thrive in collaborative environments. With a deep understanding of mental health, wellbeing, and ESG objectives, you are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging and value.

Key Skills and Attributes Required:
  • Engagement Strategy Expertise: Proven experience in developing and delivering engagement, diversity, and inclusion strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work effectively with teams across multiple functions such as Health, Safety, Wellbeing, ESG, and Legal.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in analysing workforce and engagement data to identify gaps and drive improvements.
  • Internal Communication: Experience shaping and executing communication strategies aligning with company values and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead, influence, and manage stakeholders to drive change and foster a culture of belonging.
  • Wellbeing & Mental Health Knowledge: Solid understanding of mental health and wellbeing programs and their importance in a workplace environment.
  • Organisational Change: Experience in leading initiatives to influence positive cultural change across large teams or organisations.
  • Educational Background: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
