About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Partner Consultant to join our team at Xero. As a Partner Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting our Partner Sales channel, helping accounting and bookkeeping firms to succeed in migrating clients to the Xero platform and develop a digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Sales Technical Demonstrations: Provide expert demonstrations of the Xero platform to shape and close pre-qualified deals, ensuring efficient transition of Partners from sale to utilisation.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify potential opportunities for Partners to further digitalise their workflows and provide more value to their clients.
  • Business Planning: Work closely with Sales teams to deliver business plans for Partners and sales plans for the territory.
  • Implementation: Implement online strategies developed in conjunction with Account Managers for each Partner.
  • Client Support: Assist Partners with data conversions through detailed project planning and training guidance.
  • Technical Support: Handle Partner technical queries and escalations, educate Partners on available resources, and update CRM systems with client communications.
Requirements
  • Accounting Practice Expertise: Intimate knowledge of accounting practices and related systems.
  • Training and Software Experience: Training experience and accounting software knowledge.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Exposure to financial reporting, tax returns, and compliance work.
  • CRM Systems: Understanding of CRM systems.
  • SaaS and Online Accounting: Passion for SaaS and the online accounting market.
  • Communication and Presentation: Outstanding communication and presentation skills and enthusiasm for building strong relationships.
  • Initiative and Autonomy: Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with Partners, loads of initiative, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Process Driven Mindset: Process driven mindset and passion to make a difference.
