Commercial Manager Role

As a key member of the business leadership team, this Commercial Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the commercial direction of the company and drive growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and leading the preparation of tenders, proposals, and business cases. This is a senior role that requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Developing and implementing commercial and marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to the leadership team on commercial matters, including market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects and initiatives that drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a commercial, business development, or sales role, preferably in the aviation, transport, logistics, or resources industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working with CRM systems, contracts, and other business tools.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes and procedures.
