Key Account Manager Role

This is a challenging opportunity to join our team as a Key Account Manager. As a seasoned professional in the food and nutrition industry, you will be responsible for driving aggressive business growth by hunting for new business opportunities and building a solid pipeline of prospective clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a hunter sales role. They will also possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with customers and build long-term partnerships.

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager who can effectively support product promotion, technical inquiries, and customer training. The successful candidate will be able to analyze market and customer data to inform strategy and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically identify potential new business opportunities within the food and nutrition sector, expand our customer base and achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Develop and implement tactical plans to exceed sales quotas by relentlessly pursuing potential clients across assigned territories and verticals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying additional growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, food and nutrition or related qualifications.
  • Proven experience in the food and nutrition industry with a technical background and a minimum of 5 years in Sales or Business Development.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a hunter sales role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with customers and build long-term partnerships.
