Our client, a leading multinational funds manager, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Associate to support their regional team in achieving impressive growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in Institutional Sales, Key Accounts, and the execution of the distribution strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for allocated clients and prospects by fielding, responding, and accommodating day-to-day requests.
  • Support the team in developing strategies and objectives for identified client groups.
  • Build and develop relationships with existing clients through calls, networking, and events.
  • Prospect for new clients to increase business and develop opportunities.
  • Organize and attend client events and entertainment with existing clients and new prospects.
  • Support the regional team and broader team in achieving individual and team objectives and KPIs around flows, revenue, and client activity.
  • Support the key accounts team on the execution of national campaigns.
  • Develop a good understanding of clients' businesses, objectives, goals, and market challenges within specific regions and ensure information flow and support from the team is consistent.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally within the Commerce field.
  • 2+ years of industry work experience preferred.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of the funds management/investment industry and products or the desire to learn.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and act quickly in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience using specialized financial software, such as Bloomberg or Morningstar Direct, is preferred.
  • Experience developing Excel models and using other Office applications.
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
