About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at BTA Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing business client accounts across NSW, encompassing various industry sectors.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Manage existing customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business clients
  • Regularly report to the state sales manager on sales performance and progress
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets

BTA Sales is a leading chemical distribution and supply business with over 50 years of experience in servicing various sectors, including food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals. Requirements



  • Proven sales record in the chemical industry or a background in chemical trading
  • Excellent cold calling, negotiation, and closing skills
  • A team player who can fit into a family-owned and run business

What We Offer



  • An estimated salary between $120k - $140k per annum
  • A $16k car allowance, including toll costs covered for local travel
  • A company performance bonus
  • Full-time permanent employment with opportunities for career advancement
  • A structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm
