About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Grants and Tenders Manager to join our dynamic team at Aruma. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for leading the entire bid process, from identifying new opportunities to submitting winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and client needs assessment.
  • Develop compelling and persuasive bid content, including executive summaries, value propositions, pricing models, and technical responses.
  • Coordinate and facilitate bid review meetings, ensuring key stakeholders provide input and address concerns or issues.
  • Monitor and track bid performance metrics, analyzing win/loss data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct post-bid analysis and debrief sessions to identify areas of improvement and implement lessons learned for future bids.
  • Continuously refine and improve bid processes, templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and emerging best practices in bid management.
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in bid preparation and review.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and industry-specific bid requirements.
  • Engaging personality, well-developed presentation, written, verbal, and listening skills, including an excellent telephone manner.
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective community networks and relationships.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and customer-focused.
  • Excellent computer literacy and confidence and capability in using systems and technology.
  • Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and organize and prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and work efficiently and effectively to deadlines and respond to multiple and diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and engaging bid presentations.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience within the disability services industry and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
  • Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or state).
  • A current Australian driver's license and the ability to travel intra or interstate from time to time.
