About You:

We are looking for an experienced Field Manager currently working in retail or FMCG markets, eager to learn and grow with a dynamic, agile team. You should be passionate about delivering outstanding results and be customer and execution focused.

You should recognize that success in Independents demands trusted partnerships, internally and externally, paired with commercial acumen to navigate company, wholesaler, and retailer dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fantastic salary package (including superannuation) + bonus/commission structure
  • Comprehensive joint business planning with national and state-based customer groups
  • Collaborate with Market Strategy & Planning Team (MS&P) and Brands to drive initiatives that create value and volume sales opportunities
  • Drive promotions at Metcash that consumption and shipments
  • Proactively use data from multiple sources to develop insights regarding business opportunities and potential risks
  • Challenge the status quo through positive disruption
  • Territory mapping and planning
  • Leading the customer relationship in SSO and Tier 3 MSO's to drive long-term profitable growth for Creative Activation
  • Hybrid role - work from home and the office

Success Criteria:

  • To be successful, you will have directly relevant field management experience in, preferably 2+ years within the FMCG industry; experience with other complex customer channels from another industry would also be considered
  • Open to experienced Account Managers who are looking for a new unique opportunity
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering business plans and exposure to independents is preferable
  • The ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders both internally and externally combined with astute commercial business planning is a must
