About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, International Programs and Grants to lead our efforts in securing and managing grants from international donors. This is a critical role that will play a key part in advancing our mission to protect vulnerable people from violence around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our international programs and grants strategy, ensuring alignment with our overall mission and goals.
  • Manage a team of program managers and coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure successful grant implementation and reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with international donors, including the Australian Government, to secure funding for our programs.
  • Develop and manage grant proposals, reports, and other documentation to ensure compliance with donor requirements.
  • Collaborate with our global team to identify opportunities for program expansion and growth.
  • Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of our programs, using data to inform decision-making and improve program impact.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in international development, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, grant writing, and donor relations, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing grants from international donors, with a strong understanding of donor requirements and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
