Spirits Sales Expert

Our organization is dedicated to fostering a premium brand environment. We aim to attract and responsibly develop brands with a compelling reason for existence.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Spirits Sales Expert servicing an existing customer base, with the objective of maximizing sales, portfolio profitability, and brand equity. The prime focus is on selling and servicing our existing customer accounts as well as targeting new accounts that align with our portfolio offering.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Plan and schedule selling time for optimal sales productivity.
  • Identify and evaluate customer needs through strong sales techniques to ensure proper product recommendations.
  • Develop sales strategies to drive long-term and short-term objectives.
  • Follow a structured sales call approach.
  • Conduct territory analysis and prepare journey plans to ensure maximum account coverage.
  • Collaborate with Venue Managers to enhance business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance and support of promoted lines during promotional periods.
  • Implement promotions in key venues in accordance with marketing activity.
  • Complete specified number of bar calls, bar trainings, and venue cocktail lists per month.
  • Effectively utilize CRM data and other in-house tools to manage productivity.
  • Ensure timely implementation of marketing activity.
  • Requirement to work outside of regular business hours where necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience within a relevant industry.
  • Demonstrated on-premise experience (bartender, trade marketing, brand ambassador) highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the premium spirits and liqueurs market in South Australia.
  • Respected local industry figure with a network of relevant contacts.
  • Demonstrable strategic sales experience with a focused and passionate approach.
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
