Account Portfolio Development Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating and growing a customer portfolio of medium size client segments. This involves retaining existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing account set-up compliance through thorough documentation, data analysis, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retain and grow a customer portfolio of medium size client segments by developing strong relationships with key contacts at multiple levels within the organization.
  • Implement new business opportunities and account set-up compliance through drafting documentation, analyzing data, and liaising with corporate entities.
  • Develop account relationships with contacts at multiple levels within the organization, including establishing and maintaining regular communication channels.
  • Identify opportunities to further penetrate accounts by selling CHR's diverse services, leveraging internal analytics and market intelligence.
  • Provide solution design through face-to-face interaction with accounts, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Bring pricing options & recommendations to account leadership, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify issues, seeking input from others to determine best course of action & implement solutions that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of SOPs, KPIs, and other account-specific metrics, ensuring seamless execution of business operations.
  • Contribute to the development and management of the annual account plan and budget, providing updates to internal teams and making adjustments as necessary.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in global forwarding or account management, preferably in logistics industry or field.
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills, and ability to negotiate at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs and able to develop strong customer relationships.
