Sales Role
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Area Sales Manager. This role involves providing ongoing company representation, sales and marketing support to dealers and end users within a designated territory.
Job Description
- Establish and execute regional sales profit plans to achieve targets.
- Assist in preparing annual, quarterly and monthly sales and profit forecasts, and develop strategies to achieve targets.
- Accountability for sales and profit results allocated by the National RLC/Parts Sales Manager.
- Manage a combination of key accounts, projects, and industry associations.
- Monitor and report accurate market data, competitors' activities, and developing trends within the industry.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries and accounts or pricing issues.
- Maintain current knowledge on new products, competitors' products, and other general market information of interest to customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional and proven sales skills in an equipment environment.
- Relevant industry experience.
- Able to identify mechanical and operational aspects of Turf Care Equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external partners.
- Strong organisational, planning, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent PC and Microsoft Office literacy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day instructions or as part of a team.
- Valid Australian motor vehicle license.

Toro offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
Location
The ideal candidate will be based in Townsville, with flexibility to Cairns or surrounding locations.
