We are seeking a skilled Crime Prevention and Community Support Coordinator to join our team at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead key policy projects related to crime prevention and community support in the context of the NSW criminal justice system.

You will work closely with stakeholders across agencies to address ongoing system gaps and provide strategic advice on emerging program and policy issues to progress key opportunities for system improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead policy development, manage program delivery, commission evaluations, undertake procurement, and coordinate stakeholders to address system gaps.
  • Provide strategic advice on emerging program and policy issues to progress key opportunities for system improvement.
Requirements
  • Significant experience leading the development and delivery of strategic projects related to crime prevention and community support in the context of the NSW criminal justice system.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in project management and building purposeful partnerships across the Department and with Government partners.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders, coordinating and supporting program strategic and operational governance groups.
  • Educational qualifications or professional training in a related field.
