Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for managing the banquet kitchen and overseeing the preparation of food for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the banquet kitchen and ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards
  • Oversee the preparation of food for our guests, including menu planning and food costing
  • Supervise a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition at all times
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of new staff members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest food trends and menu ideas
Requirements
  • Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
