About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sales/Account Manager in the Measurement and Analytics Business Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and exceeding targets through strategic account planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve/exceed sales targets by implementing account plans and strategic sales activities.
  • Identify and capture opportunities at existing and potential new customers within the defined geographical area.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and key decision-makers through player mapping.
  • Ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales, participating in negotiations of key contracts.
  • Manage and maintain administrative procedures related to the sales process, including Salesforce.
  • Prepare and offer quotations in coordination with the bid and proposal department, ensuring technical and financial aspects of offers.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or Trade-Related qualification and experience will be highly regarded.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Account management, Front-end sales of field instrumentation.
  • Strong Business acumen, a Hunter mentality, able to clearly demonstrate and present strong value propositions.
  • Detailed knowledge on the application of industrial instrumentation and analysers.
  • Sound understanding of the Water, Wastewater & Chemical market and Measurement applications is highly advantageous.
  • Be articulate.
