We partner with leading Australian companies like our client in Eastern Creek, specialising in therapeutic medicines and nutritional supplements. They offer manufacturing, packaging, and regulatory solutions with products proudly made in Australia.
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Account Manager with a background in the pharmaceutical industry to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive company growth and maintain high client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communications with clients.
- Develop strong technical relationships with customers.
- Facilitate meetings with key accounts to assess performance and implement any necessary remediation plans.
- Understand client needs by asking insightful questions, generating interest in our company's products, and developing customised solutions.
- Develop a solid sales pipeline and customer database through active outbound calls and lead follow-up.
- Work across marketing communications and regularly update relevant knowledge.
- Deliver high-quality customer service during the onboarding of new accounts.
- Troubleshoot issues in consultation with the relevant business and technical support teams.
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results, providing accurate input into sales forecasts and operating expenses.
About You
- Relevant managing key accounts or sales experience in healthcare/retail pharmacy.
- Effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong sales-oriented skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to handle and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field preferred.
