The event industry requires exceptional leadership, and we are looking for a proactive stewarding team leader to join our Culinary brigade. Reporting directly to the Stewarding Manager, you will oversee daily operations within the Stewarding department and collaborate with the Kitchen team.

  • Leading a large and diverse team of hospitality professionals in fast-paced and high-volume environments;
  • Delivering expert-level preparation for events, ensuring seamless logistics and impeccable service standards;
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of effective staff management strategies within the Stewarding team;
  • Coordinating arrangements to support the kitchen brigade and front-of-house teams, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences;
  • Maintaining and implementing high standards of food quality and ISO 22000 compliance throughout the organization.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in hospitality, kitchen, or logistics is highly desirable;
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a diverse team effectively;
  • Ability to work in physically demanding roles with heavy lifting requirements;
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including day, evening, and weekend shifts, early starts, and late finishes;
  • Valid working rights in Australia; you must be at least 18 years old.
