Job Title: Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Culinary Operations Manager to lead our kitchen operations in a well-established facility. As the head of the culinary team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring high-quality meal service, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

This is a full-time role offering a consistent Monday to Friday roster in a state-of-the-art kitchen. You will have the opportunity to work in a purpose-driven environment with a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The Role:

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, experience in managing labor, food, and operational costs, as well as a trade qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent. A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management are also essential requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Dual responsibilities in food preparation/presentation and site management.
  • Overall cost management with a focus on food and labor costs.
  • Stock ordering, rotation, and stocktaking.
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices.
  • Demonstrable team management, development, and leadership.
  • Assisting the broader team as required.

Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Experience with managing labor, food, and operational costs.
  • Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
