We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader to join our Complex Disability team in the metro South-East region of Melbourne. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for supervising, managing, and motivating a team of professionals, ensuring they provide high-quality services and safeguarding to our clients.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Coaching, mentoring, and guiding team members to identify risk-increasing behaviors
- Coordinating supports to complex client programs
- Maintaining and auditing client records for compliance purposes
- Crisis management and incident report follow-up
- Assessing staff performance on an ongoing basis
- Presenting to Care Teams with participant updates
We're looking for a positive role model with a 'can-do' attitude, high initiative, and a strong desire to achieve outstanding results. Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience supporting clients with complex needs in the community
- Relevant qualifications in the disability and community services (Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent)
- A genuine desire to ensure clients receive exceptional service
- Willingness to work as part of a team and cultivate a strength-based approach
- Knowledge of restrictive practices
- Knowledge and experience writing person-centered plans
- Excellent attention-to-detail and supervisory skills
To succeed in this role, you must hold current First Aid and CPR qualifications, a valid Victorian Driver's Licence, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
