About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Noble Park. As a key member of our Community and Recreation program, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with disability to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Engage clients in meaningful opportunities and relationships, promoting social inclusion and community participation.
  • Assist clients with working towards their goals, developing life skills, and enhancing overall well-being.
  • Provide transportation support, accompanying clients to appointments, events, and recreational activities.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate IV in Disability or relevant work experience is highly desirable.
  • Availability to work 2-4 days per week is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A positive attitude, initiative, and self-motivation, with a commitment to empowering clients to reach their goals.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
