Job Title: Assistant Front Office Manager

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests, providing excellent customer service, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise guest arrivals and departures, including handling guest queries and complaints
  • Ensure that room allocations and check-in/check-out processes follow set procedures
  • Prepare Front Office monthly reports
  • Supervise lobby services
  • Liaise with the Reservations office to ensure accuracy in room allocation
  • Work closely with Maintenance to ensure maintenance requests are completed quickly
  • Manage and support the Front Office team, including coaching, training, and performance management
Requirements:
  • Previous 3-5 years' experience in a Front Office role
  • First Aid Certificate and RSA required
  • Knowledge of another language preferred
  • Discretion with guest interactions
  • Great attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Outlook
