Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist - Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist to join our team as a Lead in our Early Support program. As a Lead, you will be responsible for mentoring a team of multidisciplinary key workers to support change and drive best practice service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and supervise a team of multidisciplinary key workers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and implement training programs to support the team's professional development.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive best practice service delivery and improve outcomes for children and families.
  • Provide consultation and support to families and other professionals to ensure a seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in allied health, preferably with a paediatric caseload.
  • Understanding of early childhood development and the ability to use this knowledge to coach and upskill families in an individualised way.
  • Knowledge of 0-9 year-old developmental milestones and the impact.
  • A desire to drive and improve service delivery to best impact the journey of families and staff.
  • Experience working with the NDIS scheme is desirable.
