Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing participants' functional levels and providing complex therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
- Therapeutic Interventions: Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans to address participants' needs and goals.
- Supervision and Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior clinicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, psychologists, and behavior support practitioners to ensure comprehensive care.
- Registration and Qualifications: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience and Skills: Proven experience in supervising graduate occupational therapists and junior clinicians, with a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate junior clinicians.
- Cultural Competence: A strong commitment to cultural competence and the ability to work with diverse populations.
