Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
  • Treatment Planning: Interpret assessment findings to formulate treatment goals and develop individualized plans to support individuals in achieving their goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners, to ensure comprehensive support for individuals.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and receive formal supervision to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
