Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Treatment Planning: Interpret assessment findings to formulate treatment goals and develop individualized plans to support individuals in achieving their goals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners, to ensure comprehensive support for individuals.
- Professional Development: Participate in regular professional development opportunities, including group supervision and disability-specific workshops, to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
