About the RoleThe successful Sales Manager will have the opportunity to earn a competitive salary, plus uncapped commission on their team's sales, along with a generous retainer. This role operates in a fast-paced environment, with sales achieved through converting warm inbound leads. The Sales Manager will be responsible for branch-level management, including safety requirements, sales targets, and administrative tasks.
The role operates autonomously, with regular communication with the direct manager based in Sydney. Good problem-solving skills and an ability to go above and beyond to meet customer expectations are essential. Some interstate travel may be required, but this will be infrequent.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of sales professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Provide coaching and guidance to sales team members.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage safety requirements and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth.
- Proven leadership experience in a sales environment.
- Strong sales management and coaching skills.
- Excellent customer service approach.
- Understanding of WHS requirements.
- Microsoft Office capabilities.
- Ability to work Saturdays on a roster, at least initially.
- Knowledge of the building industry is beneficial but not required.
