About the RoleThe Sales Director role is responsible for identifying sales opportunities and driving them to successful closure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating, developing, and closing sales opportunities with a focus on large global organizations
- Developing and maintaining account plans per client and/or industry sector to ensure penetration into target accounts
- Understanding complex customer requirements on both business and technical levels
- Developing and providing custom presentations on Eka's products to allow customers to solve their business problems or seize business opportunities
- Developing effective strategies for winning in a competitive environment
- Coordinating, managing, directing, and motivating a virtual team during the sales cycle
- Meeting and exceeding quarterly sales targets
- Providing inputs and educating product management, marketing, and engineering organizations on customer needs and issues
- Frequent travel around defined territory
