About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Engineering, Operations & Sustainability at One International Tower in Barangaroo. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all operating aspects of our properties under management and care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and good engineering practices in relation to property maintenance.
  2. Obtain certification for all essential services and prepare necessary documentation as required by local authorities.
  3. Manage property services, conduct inspections, and prioritize repair works to ensure safety and efficiency.
  4. Coordinate and manage specialist contractors to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  5. Develop and maintain a property due diligence program, including reporting any necessary works.
  6. Implement and maintain the Planned Preventative Maintenance System and other information databases.
  7. Procure materials and building requirements to minimize disruption to tenants.
  8. Identify and implement energy, water, and waste conservation initiatives.
  9. Participate in sustainability programs and develop a comprehensive sustainability strategy.
  10. Prepare and monitor annual property operations and capital works budgets.
  11. Provide input into monthly reports for the operational aspects of the property.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent trade certificate preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a senior Technical Operations Manager in A Grade or Premium Assets.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to empathize with tenant needs.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
