Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health and Safety Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.

About the Role:

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and company policies.
  • Develop, implement and monitor site-specific safety procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and lead incident investigations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Deliver occupational health and safety training and inductions to new and existing staff members.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in occupational health and safety or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an occupational health and safety role, ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
