Occupational Health and Safety Professional

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop tools, provide training, coaching, and influence associates to empower them to take responsibility for their own and others' safety.

  • Support the implementation of the health, safety, and environment management system.
  • Provide day-to-day health, safety, and environment support for operations.
  • Manage incident response, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Lead quarterly review of site compliance to global health and safety critical standards.
  • Lead internal and regulatory environmental reporting requirements.
  • Assist with completing risk assessments and supporting the risk management processes.
  • Lead the health and safety committee as well as the emergency control organisation.
  • Ensure contractor compliance to Mars contractor management program.
  • Deliver training as specified in the HSE training plan.
Skill Requirements:
  • Degree qualifications or equivalent experience and skills.
  • Certificate IV in training and assessment or equivalent experience and skills (preferred).
  • 2-3 years' experience in a health, safety, and environment role.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector (preferred).
  • Experience in developing risk assessments, procedures, and other health, safety, and environment related documents.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
