We are looking for a skilled Occupational Health Specialist to join our team. In this part-time role, you will support the health and wellbeing of employees across various departments.

This role involves managing the site Occupational Health Centre, coordinating calibration of medical equipment, and assessing employees for pre-employment medicals.

You will work closely with HR and Safety teams to deliver meaningful care and contribute to a safe, supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the site Occupational Health Centre
  • Assess and provide outcomes for pre-employment medicals
  • Coordinate and conduct health surveillance
  • Support the rehabilitation of injured employees
  • Develop plans to support workers' gradual return to full roles and health

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with relevant occupational health qualifications
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA practicing certificate
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Spirometry training (Thoracic Society of Aus/NZ)
  • Audiometry & Hearing Conservation certificate
  • Ability to work autonomously following medical guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Strong recent knowledge in health surveillance and assessments
  • Experience with injury management and return-to-work strategies
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation Insurance Legislation
