We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Professional to oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive health and safety management systems.

About the Role
  • This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in occupational health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risks and prevent injuries and illnesses.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential hazards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and encourage employee participation in health and safety initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in health and safety management or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
