About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Claims Expert to join our team at Gallagher. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who possesses expertise in Worker's Compensation legislation and has a proven track record of providing technical oversight and knowledge to claims teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide specialist technical oversight and knowledge to claims teams, utilising your unique skillset to coach and mentor claims staff on technical claims matters.
  • To review and endorse sustainable claims decisions, liaise with legal parties relating to claims disputes, and provide technical reviews to complex claims management strategies.
  • To act as a technical reference point for other team members, including Case Managers and Senior Case Managers, providing guidance and advice on complex claims matters.

About You

We're interested in hearing from individuals who possess:

  • Experience within the Worker's Compensation industry and in the application of Work Cover legislation.
  • The ability to interpret and apply Accident Compensation Act.
  • Fantastic customer service skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in client service roles, coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor of Law Degree and/or Industry Related Qualifications will be ideal.
