Position Overview

As a Sales Executive, your primary focus will be to strengthen our position in the mid-market sector. You are expected to exhibit competencies that align with a high-performance sales environment, particularly in areas such as pipeline management, lead generation, and establishing a robust contact network while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, manage, and sell within a designated geographic area.
  • Oversee the complete sales process, from initial prospecting to final closure, to enhance Sumo Logic's sales pipeline.
  • Generate and present precise sales forecasts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations utilizing web-based tools for prospects and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an exceptional experience for potential customers and address their requirements effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, particularly in B2B applications, including on-demand/SaaS, IT Infrastructure Management, or Cloud Security solutions.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, particularly with a technical audience such as IT operations, Security, and DevOps teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a strong collaborative approach.
  • A well-established contact network within the Big Data ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Proficient user of relevant technologies.
