**About the Role**

As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for driving business growth and reinforcing Sumo Logic's leadership in the mid-market space. To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong track record of working in high-performance sales cultures, with expertise in pipeline management, lead generation, contact network development, and delivering results against sales quotas.

**The Account Executive Team**

The Account Executive team at Sumo Logic is dedicated to providing exceptional sales experiences to our mid-market segment customers. Our team employs a consultative sales approach, has a proven track record of growing sales, and consistently delivers results that exceed expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Target, manage, and sell to a defined geographic territory to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, to fill Sumo Logic's pipeline and drive sales conversions.
  • Create and deliver accurate sales forecasts to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Perform product demos using web tools to engage with prospective customers and showcase the value of Sumo Logic's solutions.
  • Partner with internal resources to provide a seamless experience for prospective customers and ensure their needs are met.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying experience selling B2B applications, with a strong track record of success in on-demand/SaaS, IT Infrastructure Management, or Cloud Security offerings.
  • A history of quota over-achievement selling to technical audiences, including IT operations, Security, and DevOps teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • A contact network within the Big Data ecosystem, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
  • Experience with sales tools and technologies, including CRM systems and sales automation platforms.
