Position Overview
As a Sales Executive, your primary focus will be to strengthen our presence in the mid-market sector. You are expected to exhibit capabilities that align with a high-performance sales environment, particularly in areas such as pipeline management, lead generation, and developing a robust contact network while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, manage, and sell within a designated geographic area.
- Oversee the complete sales process, from initial prospecting to closing deals, to enhance Sumo Logic's sales pipeline.
- Generate and present precise sales forecasts.
- Conduct product demonstrations using online tools for prospects and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an exceptional experience for potential customers and address their requirements effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, particularly in B2B applications, including on-demand/SaaS, IT Infrastructure Management, or Cloud Security solutions.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas while engaging with technical audiences such as IT operations, Security, and DevOps teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong collaborative approach.
- A well-established contact network within the Big Data industry is highly advantageous.
- Proficient user of relevant technologies.
