Position Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will serve as an Account Executive, responsible for proactively identifying and managing new business opportunities through direct engagement and partnerships within a designated territory. We are looking for a candidate who combines a strong sales background with knowledge in Security or DevOps. This position requires exceptional sales skills, effective presentation abilities, and the capacity to guide prospects through the sales journey with minimal external assistance. Your primary focus will be on the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Develop New Business: Proactively seek and engage with new enterprise and mid-market prospects who can benefit from our secure coding solutions.
  • Build Relationships: Initiate valuable discussions and establish connections with potential clients, demonstrating the advantages of our offerings.
  • Expand Network: Continuously grow your network and client base through strategic outreach and prospecting efforts.
  • Partner Collaboration: Forge strong relationships with channel partners to gain access to accounts and expedite deal closures.

Enhance Existing Client Relationships:

  • Nurture and develop strong partnerships with enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Guide clients on their path to secure coding excellence, ensuring long-term collaboration and success.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our solutions to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to understand account structures and cybersecurity needs, enhancing client engagement with our product suite.
  • Support renewal processes to foster account growth.

Deliver Compelling Sales Presentations:

  • Prepare and present engaging sales presentations that highlight the effectiveness of our secure coding solutions.
  • Customize presentations to address the specific needs and challenges of each client.

Respond to RFIs/RFPs:

  • Effectively address the functional components of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to showcase our capabilities.

Utilize CRM Tools:

  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales progress within the CRM system.
  • Leverage CRM data to manage your sales pipeline effectively.

Engage in Networking Events:

  • Participate in conferences and seminars, both in-person and virtually, to represent Secure Code Warrior and generate leads.

Manage Sales Pipeline:

  • Prioritize and manage your sales funnel, ensuring timely follow-up on leads.
  • Engage in strategic outreach initiatives targeting large organizations to expand our client base.

Promote Security Awareness:

  • Advocate for secure coding principles to clients, going beyond traditional sales approaches.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging threats, sharing insights with clients to enhance their security posture.

Candidate Profile:

  • We seek individuals who are self-motivated and possess a solid understanding of the IT, security, and compliance landscape. Experience in areas such as DevOps, Vulnerability Management, and Web Application Scanning is advantageous.
  • A proven track record in prospecting, consulting, and closing new business opportunities is essential.
  • Strong presentation skills and professionalism in written communication are required.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role is necessary.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory is expected.
  • Comfort with videoconferencing tools for remote presentations is essential.
