Position Overview

We are seeking a Rural Sales Representative to become a vital member of our Ag Horse & Pet team on a casual basis, with ample hours available.

As a Rural Sales Representative, your extensive product knowledge and exceptional customer service abilities will empower you to establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, while also identifying new business opportunities. Supported by the Elders Rural network, you will receive the necessary resources to excel in your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients, recommending the Elders Rural range of products and services to enhance their business growth.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities to meet sales targets and KPIs.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocktaking and dispatch processes.
  • Handle sales transactions and prepare sales quotations.

Candidate Profile

  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact for clients and the community.
  • Possesses technical knowledge of seasonal and rural products to effectively support clients.
  • Demonstrates a proven sales track record, including retail experience.
  • Exhibits a high level of customer service and the ability to build relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Holds a valid driver's license; a forklift license is advantageous, and support to obtain one can be provided.
