About the Role:

Elders is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Sales Specialist/Auctioneer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading Australian agribusiness and contribute to the growth and success of our livestock sales division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients to understand their current and future needs.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain/exceed market share targets for Stud Stock sales.
  • Professionally facilitate and conduct the sale day auction process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients.
  • Identify and cultivate new Stud Stock sales opportunities for prospective and existing clients.
  • Support the Stud Stock sales process, including compliance with credit and payment terms for all transactions.
  • Provide technical advice to clients on breeding livestock and safe livestock handling practices.
  • Advise all staff regarding Stud Stock within the Branch Network.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to support a collaborative culture and achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure solutions are cost and resource effective for the business.

About You:

  • To succeed in this role, you will have several years of Livestock sales experience, a proven track record as a competent livestock auctioneer, and some experience in Stud Stock sales.
  • You will have experience in handling livestock, sales yard experience, and a proven track record in sales.
  • You will possess sound client relationship management skills, understand breeding livestock and safe livestock handling practices, and have basic computer skills.
  • You will hold a NSW Stock & Station Agents licence (Auctioneer Accreditation).
