About the Role

The Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day management of the log supply chain by ensuring accurate delivery information, maximizing compliance performance, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through effective stakeholder liaison.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of logistics specifications and customer relationships to ensure seamless delivery of log products.
  • Provide administrative support to the Haulage and Sales Function, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including haulage and sales teams, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Participate in active frontline firefighting duties and be available for after-hours fire standby on a rostered basis.
Requirements
  • Experience in financial system administration or administration more broadly.
  • Understanding and practical knowledge of supply chain activities, preferably in the forestry industry with log products.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and mobile devices, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a rural, forest setting and be willing to undertake field-based work.
  • Willingness to participate in active frontline firefighting duties and be available for after-hours fire standby on a rostered basis.
