Role Description

Pacific Hub Project Officer Overview

The Pacifica Hub is a new initiative aimed at improving the mechanisms, systems, and processes for supporting the Pacific Community in accessing appropriate health care. The Project Officer will oversee the establishment and implementation of the Pacific Health Hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of activities to enhance access for Pacific communities to appropriate health services
  • Work with relevant services within the LHD to deliver the best care to Pacific people and achieve optimal health and wellbeing
  • Implement and support key initiatives of the Pacifica Hub

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor level qualification in a relevant health discipline and at least 3 years post-graduation experience
  • Successful track record in project management, including change management and implementation methodology, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Pacific Communities in WSLHD
  • Ability to collaborate and work in partnership with multiple stakeholders
  • Time management skills and high level communication skills
