Job Description:
The Community Support Specialist will provide administrative support to the Work Health and Safety team, focusing on delivering high-quality services to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing general assistance across the PC&P team, including WHS program coordination, injury management, safety audits, and seamless support during peak workloads.
- Maintaining accurate WHS records, registers, and documentation in line with Council policies and legislation.
- Liaising with internal teams and external providers to ensure timely delivery of WHS services.
- Coordinating WHS Committee meetings and supporting training, campaigns, and communications.
- Ensuring data accuracy across HR and WHS systems, managing documentation workflows, processing invoices, and contributing to policy development and procedural reviews.
About You:
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety and/or relevant experience in a comparable role.
- Two years' experience in a similar role within Human Resources, WHS administration, or support roles.
- Previous experience using business database applications such as WHS or HR.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- High computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office, with experience in managing online reporting portals and maintaining data accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively while adapting to changing priorities and workload demands.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, using initiative and versatility to resolve support-related challenges.

This is a term contract opportunity until January 2026.
We offer an attractive remuneration package from $82,692 to $91,067 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
