Media Relations Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Media Relations Specialist to join our Public Affairs and Engagement team on a part-time basis for a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver proactive media materials including strategies, releases, statements, and mitigation plans to effectively manage reputational risks.
  • Manage reactive media enquiries and issues by preparing timely and accurate responses that meet strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate media event logistics to ensure smooth execution and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Create and edit content for various channels including media packs, social media, websites, and internal communications to engage diverse audiences.
  • Monitor media trends and provide insights and recommendations to inform communications strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and service providers to deliver high-quality, audience-relevant communications that drive results.
