About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Women's Therapeutic Support Director to lead our therapeutic team in providing high-quality support services for women recovering from domestic, family, and sexual violence.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and contribute to positive systemic change in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the therapeutic team, ensuring alignment with our feminist philosophy and organisational values.
  • Deliver specialised therapeutic support, including individual and group counselling, psychosocial assessments, safety planning, and advocacy for clients affected by domestic and family violence.
  • Oversee client intake and case management, ensuring thorough and responsive practices that meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with external partners to create holistic, wraparound services for clients, and advocate for comprehensive support.
About You

You bring a wealth of experience in clinical and therapeutic roles, specifically within domestic and family violence support. As a skilled leader with a collaborative approach, you are capable of fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for clients and colleagues alike.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field, with registration or eligibility for membership with relevant professional bodies.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus superannuation and other benefits.
