About the Role

Relationships Australia NSW is seeking a skilled Men's Behaviour Change Program Facilitator to join our team in Wollongong. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in creating a therapeutic learning environment to promote change and accountability for men who have used violence in their relationships.

The ideal candidate will have formal graduate qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline, with post-graduate qualifications in counselling, trauma, group work, or MBC practice highly desirable. You will also have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with families affected by domestic and family violence, including facilitating group work or MBC programs.

We are looking for someone with strong understanding of MBC practice, trauma-informed care principles, and the dynamics of domestic and family violence. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with others and foster relationships based on mutual respect and equality. High-level therapeutic skills that focus on empathy within a goal-oriented program and accountability framework are essential.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is between $46-$51 per hour, plus 30% casual loading, 11.5% superannuation, and 17.5% leave loading. Additionally, you will be eligible for tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum. We also offer flexible working options, additional leave days, an Employee Referral Reward program, and a fitness passport.
